The Material Handler will play a vital role in managing and organizing inventory.
They will be responsible for:
- Tracking incoming inventory and ensuring it is stored accurately and appropriately.
- Rotating across various warehouse functions as needed to support the team, adapting to different areas within the warehouse.
- Assisting with maintaining inventory accuracy, managing timely material movements, and keeping accurate records.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participating in general clean-up and housekeeping activities within the warehouse.
- Using handheld scanners for inventory tracking and movement.
- Performing other tasks as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Education: A two-year degree is preferred, but not required.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a warehouse or operations environment.
- Skills: Familiarity with handheld scanners and lift truck certification is preferred.
- Work Ethic: We're looking for a reliable, punctual candidate who is motivated to contribute to a stable, long-term position. Candidates with a history of high turnover in similar roles may not be the best fit.
